About the artist

George Gavriel is a visual artist from Nicosia, Cyprus, who trained at the prestigious Surikov Academy of Fine Arts in Moscow and earned his MFA in 1987. He has showcased his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions and has represented Cyprus in several Beijing International Art Biennales. His work often blends realism with surreal or symbolic elements.
