ART.Cy 2025 is proud to present a selection of works by Yuri Stepanovich Glyudza, a celebrated Ukrainian-born artist whose vibrant, expressive paintings have captivated audiences around the world.
Born in 1955 in Zakarpattia and based in Kursk, Glyudza is a laureate of the Deineka Prize and a long-standing member of both the Union of Artists and the Union of Designers of Russia. His works are housed in numerous Russian museums and private collections internationally.
Recognized for his masterful use of bold, luminous color, Glyudza transforms the canvas into a field of chromatic intensity—his art pulsates with energy and rhythm. While he credits an early influence from Cézanne, Glyudza has long since carved out his own distinctive style, using color as a language to explore and interpret the world.
These remarkable works are part of the Kadushev Collection, assembled over more than three decades by Vladimir Kadushev—a physicist, economist, and passionate art collector now based in Limassol. The collection includes artists of international renown, with works housed in institutions such as the Tretyakov Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Ludwig Museum.
We extend our sincere thanks to Vladimir Kadushev and the Association of Mediterranean Artists for making this special exhibition possible at ART.Cy 2025.
