Renowned for her expertise in fine arts, curation, and art education, Maria has played a pivotal role in fostering artistic accessibility, particularly for visually impaired students. Her dynamic career bridges artistic excellence and strategic consultancy, making her a sought-after figure in the international art and design industry.
Maria’s academic foundation in Painting & Ceramics from Barton University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, set the stage for her success. Her dedication to education and philanthropy led her to serve as an Art Educator for the Ministry of Education in Cyprus for 16 years, pioneering inclusive art programs. In 2020, she founded the Museum of Art and Design, promoting accessible artistic experiences. Recognized for her philanthropic contributions, Maria was honored by the Cyprus-Russia Gala for her support of children with special needs.
Her artistic career includes exhibitions across Cyprus, Greece, and the U.S., with works held in private and institutional collections, including the Royal Collection of Bahrain and the Zambellas Art Museum. Maria’s approach seamlessly blends tradition with contemporary influences, capturing themes of human connection and cultural heritage.
Beyond the studio, Maria’s consultancy work has left a mark on major international projects. Appointed as the exclusive Art Consultant for Reem Mall in Abu Dhabi, she played a key role in shaping the artistic vision of one of the UAE’s landmark developments. Her monumental artwork Falcon’s Flight stands as a testament to her ability to merge creativity with architectural ambition.
