Artist Spotlight: Nikoletta Pharmakalidou at ART.Cy 2026

Nikoletta Pharmakalidou was among the participating artists at ART.Cy 2026, presenting a body of work that reflects her distinctive exploration of form, material, and personal expression. Her creations stood out for their tactile richness, and emotive use of texture and pattern.

Her practice centres on clay, where she transforms elemental materials into expressive ceramic pieces that embody balance and fluidity. Drawing on themes of memory, heritage, and identity, her work often integrates traditional needlecraft and crochet techniques.
