We are excited to announce that Aristos Christoforou, the acclaimed Cypriot artist based in Limassol, will be exhibiting at ART.Cy 2025.
Known for his powerful fusion of classical influences and contemporary surrealism, Christoforou’s work explores the tension between form and emotion, realism and abstraction. Working primarily in oils and charcoal, his compositions are deeply expressive, offering modern reinterpretations of mythological and historical themes.
A graduate of the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury, UK, Christoforou has exhibited internationally—in Cyprus, London, Marseille, and Milan—with works featured in both private and corporate collections across Europe.
His notable series include “Mega Alexandros” and “The Labours of Hercules Reimagined”, both of which reflect his interest in resilience, transformation, and identity through a contemporary lens.
Beyond painting, Christoforou is also active in tattoo art, illustration, and design, and shares his knowledge through workshops and seminars, inspiring the next generation of artists.
ART.Cy 2025 is proud to showcase his evolving vision of figurative art and invite audiences into his compelling world where the classical meets the surreal
