ART.Cy 2026 Agenda
Innovation & Transformation in the Digital Age

The ART.Cy Art Summit is a two-day conference examining the growing influence of innovation, capital, and technology on the global art and culture ecosystem. Held in Nicosia in the autumn of 2026, the Summit brings together artists, curators, collectors, investors, technologists, and cultural institutions to explore how artistic production, distribution, and patronage are being reshaped in the digital age.

Paradigm Shifts in Art, Culture and Archaeology

Art, culture, and archaeology are undergoing profound structural change, driven by digital technologies, shifting funding models, and evolving public expectations. Yet discussions around innovation, policy, investment, and practice often remain fragmented across disciplines and institutions.

The Art Summit responds to this gap by creating a shared space for dialogue between creative practitioners, cultural institutions, technologists, and capital providers. Its purpose is to address the growing disconnect between cultural value and economic sustainability, and to explore how cultural ecosystems can adapt responsibly to technological and financial transformation without losing their public mission.

Rather than treating technology, funding, and policy as isolated topics, the Art Summit adopts a cross-cutting perspective that breaks down traditional silos between disciplines. Innovation is examined not only as a technological question, but as an institutional, economic, and cultural process.

By bringing together perspectives from art, heritage, archaeology, technology, and investment, the Summit encourages new forms of collaboration and shared language, enabling participants to understand how developments in one domain increasingly shape outcomes in others.

Day 1: The Conference

The first day of the Summit is dedicated to a curated conference programme addressing emerging trends in contemporary art, cultural heritage, and archaeology, with a particular focus on digital tools, new funding models, and cross-disciplinary innovation. Discussions span topics such as digital art, data-driven curation, cultural preservation technologies, and the evolving relationship between creators, institutions, and capital.

Day 2: The Masterclass on Digital Marketing

The second day focuses on a practical masterclass designed for artists, galleries, and cultural organizations, with an emphasis on digital promotion, audience development, and international visibility. Alongside the conference programme.

The Digital Art & Technology Exhibition

The Art Summit is accompanied by a compact exhibition showcasing digital art technologies and tools, reinforcing ART.Cy’s role as a platform operating at the intersection of culture, innovation, and long-term cultural investment.
