Maria KYPRIANOU
Maria Kyprianou is a Cypriot ceramic sculptor based in the historic centre of Limassol, known for her distinctive approach to clay and large-scale sculptures.
Born in 1977 in Limassol, Cyprus, she developed an early passion for art, particularly painting, before shifting her focus to sculpture. She trained under renowned Cypriot artist Pambos Michalis and sculptor Panicos Spanos, refining her skills to become a professional ceramic sculptor.
Her work is recognized for its captivating female figures, often drawing inspiration from mythology and fairytales. Through masterful clay techniques, she brings to life expressive forms that merge tradition with contemporary artistic vision.
