Evangelina Mavrina is a Russian art manager and multimedia artist based in Cyprus, known for her deep expertise in the art world. As a manager, she seamlessly blends her knowledge of buying, selling, creating, and curating art, with a passion for guiding both emerging and established artists.

She believes that “Art is the highest form of hope” (Gerhard Richter) and brings this philosophy to her curatorial work, creating spaces for reflection, connection, and transformation.

Evangelina will be exhibiting the works of five prominent artists:

1. George Patsalides, born in Famagusta and based in Limassol, is an action artist rooted in abstract expressionism. His work emphasizes the raw energy of the painting process, often incorporating everyday or discarded materials. Central to his art is the nude female form, explored through expressive gestures and spontaneous experimentation. He has exhibited widely in Cyprus, with works held in private collections.

2. Ellie Georgieva is a Bulgarian visual artist and photographer whose work delves into themes of identity, emotion, and the surreal dimensions of the human form.

3. Raquel Yero is a Cypriot digital photographer and artist who blends photography with digital painting to create surreal self-portraits. Her work explores the intersection of reality and imagination, crafting dreamlike visuals that challenge and expand the boundaries of visual storytelling.

4. Nata Chebarkova is a Russian abstract artist based in Cyprus. Her work centers on themes of inner freedom, self-realization, and breaking internal boundaries. Through bold experimentation with materials and forms, she sees abstraction as a path to spiritual connection, offering strength, hope, love, and light.

5. Yoesoef Olla, originally from Jakarta and now based in Bali, is a visual artist known for his bold, symbolic paintings that fuse urban expressionism with mystical themes. Influenced by Affandi, Basquiat, and Cobra, his practice confronts social, cultural, and spiritual issues with vivid energy and rebellious spirit. His art is now part of the Deryan Gallery collection.
