Sergis Hadjiadamos to participate in ART.Cy 2026

ART.Cy is delighted to welcome Sergis Hadjiadamos to the ART.Cy 2026 Art Exhibition & Conference, taking place on 14–15 March at the Amara Hotel, Limassol.

With roots in both South Africa and Cyprus, Sergis Hadjiadamos brings a distinctly multicultural perspective to his practice. The early start led him to formal studies in Fine Arts and Graphic Design, laying the foundation for a career that comfortably moves between concept, technique, and experimentation.

Since presenting his first solo exhibition in Cyprus in 2003 featuring digital mixed-media works, Sergis has continuously expanded his artistic language. His practice spans multiple media, alongside an active role in curating exhibitions and supporting artistic dialogue. Between 2007 and 2012, he also published Beach News Art Magazine, contributing to the wider cultural conversation beyond the gallery space.

His curatorial work includes notable projects such as his father’s retrospective exhibition in 2010, marking two decades since the artist’s passing, and Risky Travels for PAFOS2017, the European Capital of Culture. As an exhibiting artist, Sergis has taken part in numerous group exhibitions and has been recognized for works such as Paphos Souls, a triptych of damaged glass negative plates that earned him an award at the Larnaca Biennale in 2018.

Recent years have seen a strong focus on solo presentations, including Metamorphosis (2019) and Metamorphosis 2 (2022), as well as the digital collection Reconstructing Our Common Values. Actively engaged with digital and NFT art, Sergis continues to explore how memory, transformation, and value intersect in contemporary practice. In 2025, he completed his sixth solo exhibition at Artos Gallery House in Nicosia, titled Whatever Remains, Turn It Into Art, a fitting reflection of his evolving artistic philosophy.
