ART.Cy is pleased to announce Psifida Gallery’s participation in the upcoming ART.Cy 2026 Art Exhibition and Conference, taking place on 14–15 March 2026 at the Amara Hotel in Limassol.
As a contemporary art gallery based in Paphos, Psifida Gallery has established itself as an active presence within the island’s vibrant cultural landscape. Since opening its doors in 2022, the gallery has been dedicated to presenting diverse and thought-provoking exhibitions across a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, and mixed media.
At ART.Cy 2026, Psifida Gallery will proudly represent multidisciplinary visual artist Yiannis Sakellis. Born in Paphos in 1983, Sakellis studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts “Pietro Vannucci” in Perugia, Italy, graduating in 2007 and receiving the Adelmo Maribelli Prize for artistic achievement. He later completed a Master’s degree in Art History and Theory at the Cyprus University of Technology.
Sakellis works across a rich spectrum of media including painting, drawing, thread art, installation, video, photography, and printmaking. His artistic practice explores the aesthetic re-evaluation of lived experience, inviting viewers to reflect on memory, perception, and the human condition. With numerous solo exhibitions in Cyprus and participation in international exhibitions in countries such as France, Mexico, Ukraine, the United States, and the United Kingdom, Sakellis has built a strong and engaged exhibition career.
Admission to ART.Cy 2026 is free, offering an open invitation to all who wish to experience contemporary art at the Amara Hotel on 14–15 March 2026. For more information and updates, please follow us on our social media on Instagram: @art.in.cyprus and Facebook: ART.Cy.
