ART.Cy is happy to announce the participation of Marina Emphietzi at the upcoming ART.Cy 2026 Art Exhibition & Conference, set to take place at the Amara Hotel, Limassol on 14–15 March.
Marina Emphietzi is an award-winning Greek Cypriot contemporary artist, widely recognised for her semi-abstract seascapes and landscapes inspired by the sea and marine environment. Her work explores the emotional depth, movement, and fluidity of water, translating a deeply personal connection to nature into vivid compositions rich in colour, texture, and energy. By blending abstraction with realism, her paintings capture both the physical presence and the emotional resonance of the ocean.
Working across mixed media, Marina combines traditional techniques with contemporary and conceptual approaches, pushing the boundaries of modern seascape painting. Her career includes winning the top prize at the Chelsea Summer Exhibition in 2022, exhibiting at renowned venues such as the Saatchi Gallery in London, and featuring in public collections including the Cyprus Municipal Gallery. Alongside her artistic practice, she has been actively involved in arts education and international exhibitions, establishing herself as a dynamic and influential voice in the contemporary art scene.
ART.Cy 2026 Exhibition & Conference is open to public, the entrance to the exhibition is free. For more information follow us on our social media, Instagram:@art.in.cyprus and Facebook: ART.Cy
