Gallery Spotlight: Psifida Gallery and Yiannis Sakellis at ART.Cy 2026.

Psifida Gallery was among the participating galleries at ART.Cy 2026, presenting the work of Yiannis Sakellis. Founded in 2022, the gallery is dedicated to promoting contemporary art through a diverse programme of exhibitions and initiatives that engage both the public and collectors.

The gallery showcases a wide range of mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, and artisanal works, through rotating solo and group exhibitions featuring local and international artists.

At ART.Cy 2026, the gallery presented Yiannis Sakellis, whose practice spans painting, drawing, installation, video, photography, and printmaking. His work explores the aesthetic re-evaluation of lived experience, often inviting viewers into a reflective engagement with material, form, and narrative. His work has been exhibited widely in Cyprus and internationally, and he has played an active role in the local art scene as a curator, educator, and co-founder of the Kimonos Art Center.
