ART.Cy is excited to announce that Elena Sarri Varnava will be participating in the upcoming ART.Cy 2026 Art Conference & Exhibition at the Amara Hotel in Limassol on 14-15 March.
Elena Sarri Varnava, born in Famagusta, Cyprus, is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, drawing, engraving, photography, and sculpture. Having pursued her academic studies in England, she specialised in Marketing and Advertising in London while also completing a Foundation Course in Art at Leicester Polytechnic, laying the groundwork for a lifelong engagement with the visual arts.
Her artistic journey continued in Athens, where she lived and worked between 1980 and 1989, focusing on ceramic studies before returning to Cyprus and settling in Limassol. Over the years, she has further developed her practice through studies with renowned artist and professor Helene Black, participating in a wide range of courses including life drawing, silkscreen, lino and collagraphy, aquatint printing, photography, and sculpture.
Her work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Cyprus, Greece, and the United Kingdom.
