Artist Spotlight: Papiestro at ART.Cy 2026.

Papiestro was among the participating artists at ART.Cy 2026, presenting a selection of his latest works. His pieces stood out for their vibrant energy and striking visual language, attracting strong attention from visitors throughout the exhibition.

Papiestro is a self-taught contemporary abstract artist whose practice combines dense, textural abstractions with bold geometric compositions and neo-pop character works. Using saturated colour, impasto surfaces, and graphic detail, his paintings move between wild floral fields, fractured urban landscapes, and surreal figures. Working intuitively, he builds each canvas layer by layer, allowing shapes and patterns to emerge as a visual diary that reflects a dynamic inner world.
