Artist Spotlight: Alex Dzaghigian Vadet at ART.Cy 2026.


Alex Dzaghigian Vadet was among the participating artists at ART.Cy 2026, presenting a selection of his latest works. His pieces stood out for their exceptional technical precision and refined realism, drawing significant attention from visitors throughout the exhibition.

 

Alex is a renowned Cypriot contemporary realist artist, academically trained at leading fine art institutions including the Repin Academy in St Petersburg and the Grand Central Atelier in New York. His work is widely recognised for its mastery of traditional oil painting techniques, which he reinterprets through a modern lens. By integrating classical academic methods with insights from conservation science, he has developed a distinctive approach that bridges tradition and innovation.
