ART.Cy welcomes Cypriot artist Elena Sarri Varnava


ART.Cy is proud to highlight the artistic journey of, a Cypriot artist whose passion for fine arts has remained steadfast alongside her corporate career.


Born in Famagusta, Cyprus, Elena pursued her studies in Marketing and Advertising in London while also attending the Foundation Course in Art at Leicester Polytechnic. Her creative path took her to Athens from 1980 to 1989, where she engaged in ceramic studies, before settling in Limassol, Cyprus. Under the guidance of renowned artist and professor Helene Black, she explored diverse artistic techniques, including life drawing, silkscreen, engraving, photography, and sculpture.


Elena's work has been showcased in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Cyprus, Greece, and the UK. Her solo exhibitions include Kapopoulos Fine Arts Gallery (2022), Opus Gallery (2017), and House of Cyprus in Athens (2009). She has also participated in significant group exhibitions, such as "Do Not Forget. The Child and the Mountain" (2024, Alona, Cyprus), "Prosfιgosimo" in London (2024), and the 6th FLUX at the National Army Museum (2019, London, England).


Beyond her artistic endeavors, Elena serves as the Executive Director of Marketing and Research & Development at the Eureka Group of Companies. Despite her corporate commitments, fine arts remain her true passion, with her work spanning painting, drawing, engraving, photography, and sculpture.
