ART.Cy is pleased to announce its October Field Trip on Saturday, 25 October, to the Chemisov Art Gallery, located in the serene surroundings of Minthis Hills, Paphos. The event will begin at 15:00, and participation is free of charge.
The October field trip offers a special opportunity to explore the works of the late Felix Volossenkov, a celebrated Russian painter known for his distinctive style that blended symbolism, spiritual themes, and expressive color palettes.
Felix Volossenkov (1944-2025) was a distinguished Russian painter known for his dynamic and expressive works. His works are part of prestigious museum collections worldwide, including the State Hermitage and the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and the Sakima Art Museum in Okinawa, Japan. Additionally, his art is housed in institutions across Europe, the United States, and Asia, showcasing his global artistic influence.
