ART.Cy is pleased to announce an upcoming field trip to the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, taking place on Saturday, 18 April at 12:00. As part of its ongoing programme of cultural visits, ART.Cy invites the public to join this special guided tour experience in Nicosia.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the current exhibition Cyprus Insula, along with the Museum of the History of Cypriot Coinage and the Archaeological Collection of Georgiou and Nefeli Giabra Pierides. The visit offers a unique insight into Cyprus rich cultural heritage, spanning history, archaeology, and numismatics.
The guided tour will last approximately one and a half hours, with a maximum of 25 participants to ensure a high-quality and engaging experience. Families with children are warmly welcome to attend.
Founded in 1984, the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation is one of the island’s leading cultural institutions, dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Cyprus history and artistic heritage. It manages important collections, including rare manuscripts, historical artefacts, and one of the most significant numismatic collections in the region. Through exhibitions, publications, and educational programmes, the foundation plays a vital role in cultural research and public engagement. Its work continues to bridge the past and present, making cultural heritage accessible to a wide audience.
