Eve Yianni is a British–Cypriot visual artist and art educator based in Limassol, Cyprus. She holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts, Canterbury, UK, and has been actively engaged in both artistic practice and arts education since 2008.
Working primarily with acrylics, charcoal, and mixed media, Yianni’s practice centres on figurative exploration. Her paintings are characterised by expressive brushstrokes, dynamic linear mark-making, and layered textures that blur the boundaries between form and environment.
Figures often appear partially dissolved or fragmented, occupying ambiguous spaces that invite viewers to complete the narrative through their own imagination. In recent works, her practice has expanded into a more playful and vibrant visual language, frequently depicting children captured in transient, everyday moments, balancing emotional sensitivity with spontaneity and movement.
Yianni has exhibited widely in Cyprus and internationally, including group exhibitions at Kunstlerhaus – Modern Art Museum in Vienna, Loods6 Gallery in Amsterdam, and numerous galleries in Limassol and Nicosia. In 2025, she presented her solo exhibition Coexist at Nyx Hotel, Limassol.
Alongside her studio practice, Yianni is a dedicated art educator. She teaches GCE O Level and A Level Art and Design and has extensive experience delivering foundation-level art education. Since 2008, she has also run her own art workshop, offering instruction in painting, sculpture, drawing, and art history, and organising annual student exhibitions.
Her dual role as artist and educator informs a practice grounded in observation, process, and visual storytelling.
