Elena Shiakalli was born in Famagusta and has lived in Limassol since the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974. She has been involved with art in its many forms since childhood and strongly believes that everything around us is a form of art.

She studied Business Administration and Marketing in Great Britain; however, her deep love for art led her to further studies in mosaic and hagiography, followed by painting masterclasses with the renowned Cypriot painter Andreas Makariou.

Elena Siakalli has held solo exhibitions across Cyprus and has participated in numerous group exhibitions both locally and internationally. Since 2005, she has been the owner and curator of the art workshop and gallery Art Exhibit in Limassol, where many of her works are displayed.

Her artworks are housed in the Limassol Municipal Gallery as well as in private collections in Cyprus and abroad.
