Elena Georgallas

Elena Georgallas is a Cyprus-based visual artist, art director, and creative manager. She holds a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Nottingham Trent University (UK), graduating with First Class Honours. Her background in graphic design and visual communication strongly informs her artistic practice, resulting in work that balances conceptual structure with emotional expression.

 

With over two decades of professional experience in leading creative roles within international advertising agencies, Georgallas has developed a distinctive visual language shaped by storytelling, composition, and clarity. Alongside her professional career, she has maintained a committed fine art practice focused on themes of memory, time, and emotional experience, often drawing from personal narratives to create introspective and expressive works.

 

She began exhibiting at an early age, presenting work at Gloria Gallery in 1989 and showing personal projects while studying in the UK in 1993. In 1995, she was selected to participate in The Young Designers Exhibition in London. Her recent solo exhibitions include Life Boxes (2015) and 500 Days – all I felt (2025).
