Anna Roman was born in Moscow and has lived and studied in Europe. After initially earning academic degrees in Applied Mathematics and Business Administration, Anna also earned a degree in Visual Arts and History of Art from the School of Fine Arts and Design of New York.
Anna is constantly studying new techniques and taking various art classes in quest to improve her knowledge and awareness of art. She is a Member of the Creative Union of Professional Artists (Russia).
Working her whole life in consulting and finance, Anna turned to art and is a highly accomplished painter. Her paintings are live and brightly coloured, energized by the sun and sea of Cyprus.
Despite the fact that Anna lives and works in Cyprus for almost 30 years, her paintings have a been displayed internationally and can be found in private and state collections all over the world.
In addition to her interest in art, Anna is a fervent supporter and organizer of charity projects and philanthropical organizations. She is the Vice-President of the non-profit association of artists Limassol Palette as well as Vice-President of the Association of Mediterranean Artists (AMA). In addition, she supports various social and charity projects in Cyprus and internationally.
Anna won the award of “Creative woman of the Year 2020," awarded by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and industry
She is the organizer of a large charity project "Business Ladies Painting" which was supported by Limassol Municipality as well as by his Excellency, the President of the Republic of Cyprus.
