Yuri Stepanovich Glyudza was born in 1955 in Zakarpattia.

A laureate of the Deineka Prize and a member of both the Union of Artists of Russia and the Union of Designers of Russia since 1990, he lives and works in Kursk. His works can be found in various Russian museums as well as in numerous private collections around the world.

Glyudza is a true master of bold, luminous color. The first and most striking impression his paintings leave is their distinctive chromatic energy—vivid, voluminous, and full of life. For him, color is not merely a tool but a means of understanding the world and its inherent rhythms.

While he acknowledges an early admiration for Cézanne, Glyudza has long since developed a voice and style uniquely his own.

The Kadoushev Collection

Vladimir Kadoushev, a graduate of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and the Academy of Foreign Trade, has lived and worked in various countries before moving to Cyprus some years ago.

For over 30 years, he has been meticulously building his art collection, which includes works by Nikolay Troshin, Rustam Khamdamov, Dmitry Sandzhiev, Igor Larionov, Yuri Glyudza, Alexey Pimenov, and other esteemed artists. Many of these artists are represented not only in private collections worldwide and local museums but also in prestigious institutions such as the Tretyakov Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum of Art (USA), the Russian Museum, and the Ludwig Museum (Germany).

Since 2019, Kadoushev has been residing in Limassol, where his collection has also found a new home. In 2023–2024, selected pieces from his collection were exhibited in local galleries.

We are grateful to Vladimir Kadoushev and the Association of Mediterranean Artists for the exhibition of this art.
